Yesterday the kids and I went to Morton Arboretum to hang out with friends. It looked to me like everyone and their brother, and their brother’s neighbor, and the neighbor’s stepson, were at the Arboretum yesterday. How’s that for drama?
Last Wednesday I had a friend over for coffee, though I forgot to tell N and E that she was there as *my* friend. She and I tried really hard to chat, but they both wanted to hang out with her too. The boys had a lot of important topics to cover, including showing her their favorite LEGO sets and suchlike. E really wanted me to show the Eiffel Tower, which I badly damaged in transit and he delighted in telling everyone about. Today was the first day of the 2010 InHome Conference, our local homeschooling conference in St. Charles, IL. Jeff took the day off work to chaperone N and E, and the boys enjoyed an Art Extravaganza, Magic Show, live animal “critter corner” and an awesome Physics show.
